Hi everyone,
At a 27 week scan they said my baby weighed 2lb 5oz.
Then today (28 weeks 4days) a midwife measured me and i'm now measuring bigger (probably because baby is breech) but if not then baby is now measuring 3lbs 9oz.

Is there a website or formula to estimate how much my baby will weigh if i get to 40 weeks?

Many thanks,
xx

google "gestational weight charts" and you should be able to find some good information that shows the weeks gestation with the approximate weights and percentiles.

These are just estimates. Even ultrasounds can be off by a half pound or more, so take it all with a grain of salt. There is NO method that will accurately predict the weight of your baby within a few ounces.

sorry I'm not sure of way of how to tell or measure how big baby is
but i would not worry about you measuring big at 28 weeks i was measuring 30 and big for my dates i had a 4D scan at 29 weeks and baby was measuring 2lbs 15 oz which is very average for anyone at 30 weeks your baby should be around 3lbs
but like you said if your baby is breech this will affect the measurements and if you carry more water that will too
I'm sure if they are concerned they will send you for a scan to determine how big your baby is

There is no way to accurately determine a baby's weight. I've had two different ultrasounds that were off by a pound or more, which is pretty significant, especially if a doctor is using ultrasound results to suggest induction or c-section (i.e. for a supposedly too large or too small baby).

You can check your pregnancy week by week at any online calendar and it will tell you approx. what they weight at each stage.

i had a scan at 38 weeks (a couple of days before i was induced) and they told me the baby would probably be about 8lb....she was actually 6lb 2oz when she was born (so petite)
i thinkits just a matter of geussing for fun because not even the doctors were right in my case!!!!

good luck though! (so i was absolutely no help)

It's a estimate only.
the increased weight may be your own weight, not the child's weight.
