the javascript command : window.close() does not work with FireFox.
What should I do to make the window close in any Navigator

The window.opener property regulates this. Firefox's security model will allow scripts to close a window but only if the window was opened by a script in the same page (close-r may only be open-er). A page is not deemed to have opened itself.

I'm not sure what the answer is at the moment, the Firefox guys try to eliminate all tricks to close windows through JavaScript for security reasons.

Usually you just click the red X at the top right hand side of the screen. Are you running Windows ?
