Absolutely! Forgetting for just a moment, all the trade rumors and all the jockeying for the rights to sign this player or that player, the sheer joy of the game is what I miss most during the off season.
From the moment of the last pitch of the last game of the world series, I prepare myself for the long winters nap and dream of spring training and the beginning a new pennant race. That is what gets me through these cold winter Florida days and nights!

Yes, I am.
As I look out over the blanket of white that is covering the ground I can only look forward to better days, the start of Spring Training.

You bet! I'm especially excited this year because it will be combining the two things I love: the New York Yankees and Virginia Tech. The Yankees are going to be playing against Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and my brother goes there. I also love baseball and look forward to a year of improvement, so that's another reason to be looking forward to Spring Training.

Always. As soon as the World Series is over.
Oh, the awards and subsequent debate are fun, as are the offseason dealings, but none of that is on-field baseball. There's nothing like it.
I'm much more web-based now, but years ago, seeing the first line scores of the spring, in agate type, in the newspaper on a March Sunday was sheer delight.

You bet!! I live in the Orlando area and each spring is great. I get to go to a bunch of games in small parks and see all of the grapefruit teams. The weather is the best--not too hot and seldom rains--in March.
My boss can't seem to figure out that I am "sick" a lot each March but I have a great tan. LOL
