i call the usa every day....
you need to dial.... 001 then their number, if their number has a 1 on the front take it off

they dial 1 0044 and then your number minus the 0 on the front of your number

001 and then the number (It will be 10 digits). In america itself we dial a "1" before the number, but from overseas, change the "1" to "001". "001" is the country code for the US.

To call the states I think it is 001. What tehy need to put in front in order to call you depends on where you are! For UK it's 0044
