Get a generator and make your own power. Don't run the generator inside or the exhaust fumes will kill you. Have an electrician install a transfer switch so you are not sending power back into the grid.

If you don't want to go to that expense, you can get a portable propane powered infrared heater that is safe for indoor use. It has a sensor that shuts it off if the oxygen in the room gets too low. One brand is Mr. Heater and you can get it at beprepared.com.

IF YOU HAVE A GAS STOVE, DO NOT USE IT FOR HEAT UNLESS THE STOVE HOOD IS VENTED TO THE OUTSIDE AND YOU HAVE CARBON MONOXIDE DETECTORS.
IF YOU HAVE BOTH REMEMBER TO REMOVE THE HOOD FILTER AND ONLY RUN THE STOVE FOR SHORT PERIODS OF TIME.
AND BUNDLE UP.
