this happened to me too, the Dr told me that If my baby wasnt born on her day then they would induce me, so it was the day she was supposed to be born January 22 of 2007 but she wasnt so I went to the Dr and they say just give her another week, Dr's say that a baby can be 10 more day in your belly even if your due date has past and I was so worried, didnt know what do do, so I waited and finally she came out the 27 of January, was so happy she had no problem, ans neither did I, everything was ok, everybody say " the baby choses when to come out, you shouldn't worry! is part of pregnancy. You're ok, believe me, good look I sure the baby will be in your arms pretty soon, good luck!

You are only a few days over, most doctors will allow at least a week or more. Don't worry about the show it could happen any time, to move things along try having sex, walking and hot spicy foods they might help you to go into labour. Just try to be a little more patient and baby will be here before you know it! Have a long hot bath and try to relax, nothing is wrong, you are just normal. Being fed up towards the end of the pregnancy is very common, all mothers to be can't wait till they meet their little one and it is frustrating when you go over the due date. Best of luck I hope it happens for you soon, hope your labour is great and not too painful and your baby is happy and healthy!

I just had my 1st baby 2 1/2 months ago and my mucus plug didn't come out until they broke my water at the hospital. I did start having contractions at home though before I went to the hospital. I was 2 days over my due date when my baby was born. I learned that only 10% of women's water actually breaks on it's own ususally the doctor breaks it when you are in labor. I was told to take a resonably hot bath and that it would help put me into labor. I did and then I took a nap and when I woke up I was having contractions. The real ones! You'll know. I had tried everything else before walking , spicy food, etc. Good luck!

The due date is not a guarantee and most Moms (and especially first time) go over the due date. Now I can't say that for myself because I had both of my girls early, the first was 3 weeks early and the second 2 weeks early... but I had very stressful pregnancies and exercised a lot... don't know if that would matter but Ive heard it can. Being 3 days late is not out of the ordinary, if you are worried call a doctor! Tell them your in pain and your over your due date... a lot of babies can be stubborn and I think first babies are the MOST stubborn.

Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with you. Babies tend to come into the world following their own schedule, not the doctors. You can have a show weeks before labour begins or even when it has already started. So relax and make sure you are well rested for the big event. Good luck, I hope all goes well.

No nothing is wrong, when it's time you will lose it. With you having period like cramps and back aches I would say your close. That is usually a sign of labor. Good luck to you, and try and get some rest, your going to need it!!!

Due dates are an estimated. When it comes to predicting the exact date for giving birth, it is hard to do, especially with the first.
Just wait at least another week or so. Trust me, when your times comes you will have no doubt about it.
