Sorry I suppose I need to be more specific. I wondered if you could buy a fire that is gas but there is a section in it too where you could e.g. burn logs. I am not an arsonist honest

No - you would wreck the fire. If you want to burn logs you need an open fire with a functional chimney.

No but you can buy decorative logs to replace the coals, unless it is one with specifically shaped coals that fit on pegs. Google decorative logs - gas fire.

No not usually. Have a look at your fireplace and check out the brand.

Go onto goggle and search for the brand and it will tell you what you can and can't do.

OR ring your local dealer and ask.

Be careful or you may blow the house up. Can't have that can we.

Happy keeping warm J

Yes, you can burn anything on a gas fire.

It will however fill it full of ash and gunk and probably block the flue and kill you.

So dont. Ever. Even think about it!

Why would you want to anyway?

No! Geez... the ash and soot will clog up the gas ports and make a really big mess.
