Yes they do more in the US than in the UK. However with the current political climate in the UK i believe we are fast catching up with our US counterparts.

UK; it's not so much that Business runs the Government more like Money buys the Politicians!
Look at the history of corruption in UK politics for the past 100 years. Blair and Brown were not the first or the only corrupt MP's or PM';s in power who have succumbed to money over honour.

Why hasn't the usa had a minimum wage rise for years? Simple big business donates to Bush.

Why no free healthcare in USA like England?
Simple the health insurance donates to bush as well as drugs business?

Why is US in Iraq?
Bush is a shareholder in Halliburton need I say more.

Englands the same.

Corrupt party donations.

The Tescos
The Walmarts
The Mcdonalds
The Banks

They rule the world.

No. Not in the UK. If c. £600k from some property developer causes this much fuss - this is hardly "big business" is it?

Where have you been for the past 20 years? Of course they are. Governments are far more interested in protecting economies than protecting people.

Yes, that's why voting doesn't actually change anything and it doesn't matter who's in power. Its also why common sense and the wishes of the majority are ignored.
