I think it can go either way but would be predominantly a girls name. I think the spelling Marley is more masculine but sounds feminine. Where as Marlee or Marli looks more feminine.

Form only knowing one person with the name Marley I'd say it's a boys name

Marley is a guys name for me. Because all the Marley's I've known have been short for Jamahl. However, it's up to you what you want to name your child! :)

Boys...there are several Marley's local to me...all boys. I see everyone else says it's a girls name..I live in the U.K. maybe it's only here that it's a boys name?

I'd say a girl's name. I couldn't really see Marley as a boy's name.

i've known 2 people named Marley. 1 guy and 1 girl. it can really be either but i prefer it for a girl.
