India is developing country. It has all man power and very clever people are here. This is the country where the forefathers show way how to live and how to develop. It is ascertained from the news and papers that good political stalwarts like Kamaraj, Rajai, G.D. naidu, Nehru, Lal bahadur shashtri, Vajpayee, Indira Gandhi intended and brought the country to the developing nation. The other politicians are also in the same view. India is the strong country and one day it will show way to other countries.

By sheer mistake three persons were taken away UP THERE.God came to know of this.He was terribly disturbed , but , He has to do justice. How could HIS OLD and LAZY workers could do that.
God asked these three persons to be brought before him and He decided each one would be asked a question..."Ask just one question".
These three were our well known 1) President Musharraf2)George Bush and 3)Mr Laloo
When asked, the 1st one said"when will PAKISTAN get hold of whole of Kashmir?".God replied "not during your life time".Musharraf wept and left.
Second one was asked and he said "when will the USA control the whole world"?God replied "not during your life time".Bush left crying all the way.
Atlast Mr.Laloo entered.God asked the same question and Laoo said "when will Bihar become a developed State of India.God started crying and said "not during my life time".
The answer to your question lies in the above humour.
God Bless

While there is no single definition of a developed country, the generally accepted concept refers to countries that:
have achieved relatively high levels of per capita GDP (between US$ 13,000 – US$ 80,000)
[INDIA: GDP - per capita (PPP): $3,800 (2006 est.)]
possess advanced productive sectors (including service and high technology industries)
enjoy high quality infrastructure and social services (the most appropriate, effective and up-to-date)
undertake relatively high levels of research and innovation (R&D which focuses on quality and relevance of the technological, industrial, economic, social and cultural aspects which include quality of life and management of living resources; user-friendly information society;
competitive and sustainable growth; promotion of innovation and encouragement of participation; improving human research potential and socio-economic knowledge)
In addition to these broad characteristics, the United Nations has introduced the Human Development Index (HDI), based largely on the work of the Nobel Prize winning economist Amartya Sen1, which combines measures of life expectancy, literacy, school enrolment and per capita GDP into a single index to measure relative human development among nations.
An even broader concept is that of sustainable development, which seeks to integrate and balance the economic, social, environmental and governance components of national development, and has been defined as development that "meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs."
Thus a country's status in terms of its development focuses on well-being and life chances, determined by several fundamental indicators, including HDI (life expectancy, levels of adult literacy and school enrolment, purchasing power), income, GDP per capita, equality/inequality, respect for human rights and political freedoms, poverty level, status of women/gender balance.
Based on the foregoing, countries are classified as:
Advanced Economies
Industrialized Economies
More Developed Countries (MDCs) and Less Developed Countries (LDCs)
Low Income, Lower Middle Income, Upper Middle Income and High Income Countries
High, Medium, and Low Human Development
