If you watch Romney closely, you see what I call CEO Syndrome. The man is very slick, dresses like a million dollars, is handsome and talks wonderfully in that he says exactly what the moment calls for, and exactly what people wish to hear in a given setting. If you look at his expressions, though, it is all the act of a vacuuous human being. There's nothing inside there. It's all PR posturing for a demographic. All candidates do this to an extent, but Romney is an extreme example of the malady.

I have taken to saying that I really hope the GOP has a great candidate this time. Not electable, per se, but someone who can do the country some good if all bets are off election night and a Republican winds up being elected. I say this because I think the Democrats are on the verge of blowing the opportunity of the last 60 years. You look back, and you can't blame people for voting for Reagan over Carter or Bush over Gore, possibly (the first time). But no one who has been paying attention and filtering the last 7 years though an adult brain could vote for a continuation of Bush's policies. Ergo, the election is the Democrat's to lose. Unfortunately, that's just what I think they will do. Hilary and Obama both have huge baggage -- being a woman and being a minority -- that cannot be overcome in the current climate of retro-to-the-'50s bigotry. That leaves Edwards with a big name. But he is perceived as a lightweight and bland player. No chance to win. Think he'd even be there if he hadn't been the party's nominee for VP in 2004? Nope. No way. He's a nice fellow. But not electable. So the GOP had better pick a real leader equipped with everything Bush lacks -- intelligence, clarity of mind, the flexability to change direction when the present course is failing. You know the drill.

You were right about Romney the first time, by the way.

Romney is not a moron. He is a very sharp man even if you do not agree with his point of view. You do not make millions of dollars in business if you are a moron and as you know, Romney is VERY rich. The only problem he really has in a nation full of /Christians is that he is a modified Christian...a Mormon. What does this have to do with his ability to lead this country? If you do not like his ideas and politics don't vote for him but it should have nothing to do with the fact that he is a Mormon. As an American I would vote for an athetist if he were the right man and could restore America to its former position.

Hey now, don't go making fun of his religion!

No, I'm just kidding. They are both morons!!! The big question is which is more of a moron?

The only difference between the two is that Romney has a 5 point advantage in the IQ department.

I agree with Vantz. People are so ridiculous these days. George Bush hasn't RUINED our country. Perhaps he has made some bad decisions, or, well, what some of us would consider bad decisions, but he's no moron, and he certainly hasn't destroyed our country.

Mitt Romney have excellent views on critical issues like Ron Paul but he is being associated with the Mormons.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Romney will likely win.

Sorry, yet Joseph Smith in no way refered to the followers of the Church as Mormons. He consistently referred to as them Saints, individuals of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or LDS. It replaced into detractors of the Church who coined the time era Mormon to verify with individuals of the Church because of the e book of Mormon. It replaced into initially meant to be an identical because of the fact the 'n' be conscious, however the individuals embraced the nickname and took it for themselves. yet I do accept as true with you that Romney releases advertisements with a lie in them, then as a exchange of taking flight the advert, he places out greater advertisements telling an identical lie because of the fact he's accustomed to that his base will have faith him no count what.

It doesn't bother me that he is a Mormon. I am bothered by the fact that republicans do like to vote for morons though.
