Checking in to a hotel won't matter as long as your credit card matches. That's all they are checking for at that point. Don't even atttempt to use it in any casino .. that would be a big mistake. Plus if you try to use it to board an airplane ... wouldn't even want to think of it.

Either way .. keep your bags packed to leave suddenly.

Don't risk it as plenty of people risk it without success. Nothing is more miserable that coming to Vegas and not being able to do anything that you came to do. During the summer months, those under 21 can enjoy some of the pools (although many now are 21 and up). You can also go to the Circus Circus Adventure Dome. However, I really wouldn't go without someone over the age of 21. Las Vegas has a curfew and no one under the age of 21 can hang out at all in the casinos. You will be able to find some things to do at 19 in Las Vegas, but I wouldn't try to use any fake ID. Good luck

First, like someone said, it's not the id they are concentrating on when you check in, it's that your id matches the credit card (if they even bother to check).

I carried a fake id to vegas and went a number of times between ages 19 and 20. Never had a problem. That was some years ago though.

I have been to Vegas many times. All I can say is that if is in not an official type ID you will not get in no matter how "good" it looks.

When I say official I mean Drivers liscense, Passport, state or government ID.

If your ID doesn't match your credit card you can kiss that good-bye as well. Will look kind of funny if you are checking in under John Smith then you pull your credit card out and it says your name is Terry Johnson.

Good luck but I don't see it happening.

Hope you know a good lawyer and have somebody to either come bail you out of jail or pick you up on the street.

You can pretty much kiss that fake ID goodbye because it's going to get confiscated. Hotels in Vegas are not staffed by stupid people - they study drivers' licenses, if they don't have a scanner to scan them.

I say just try it. These people at vegas can't even tell a real one from a fake one. One time at vegas, this bouncer was looking at my cousin ID and he said it was fake because she doesn't look over 21 but the fact was that she was 23.

So we were mad and laughing at the same time that she couldn't get in because she was 23 and it was a real ID from CA. Its more like a irony. She got into clubs with fake ID when she was young, Now she can't get into one club with a real one when she is of legal age.

I mean these people look at CA ID all the time and they still can't figure out the real one from the fake. LAME. Just LAME.

If it's not an expert made ID from an original state ID with just the birthdate changed, it will not work.

Don't try it.

If you're checking into the hotel, your ID needs to match the credit card.

If you're gambling, your ID needs to match your social security number (and they will keep the money if you hit a jackpot)

ln all honesty check in cares more about you credit card than your photo id. Its the casino and club workers who really care about your id.
