How to make DVD (Digital images) out of Analogue video images?

Question

I have an old JVC video camera, which shoots in the Analogue Format the contents of which I can watch on TV directly through the camera.

I wanted to shift the videos onto DVDs in a Digital Format.

Which product should I buy that will give me the best quality of videos? Can someone tell me what is the hardware needed for this?

a pinnacle conversion box will do the capture for you, their software isn't bad either.
