g `(x) = (2x) (x + 2) + (1)(x²)
g `(x) = 3x² + 4x
g `(x + 1) = 3(x + 1)² + 4(x + 1)
g `(y) = 3y² + 4y
g` (x) = 3x² + 4x

g(x) = x^2(x+2)
g(x+1) = (x+1)^2((x+1)+2)
g(x+1) = (x^2 + 2x + 1)(x+3)
= either (x+1)(x+1)(x+3)
or = x^3 + 2x^2 + x + 3x^2 + 6x + 3
= x^3 + 5x^2 + 7x + 3
