I'm just wondering, how many girls here actually go out and hit jumps built in the backcountry? If you do, how big are you comfortable going? If not, do you hit park jumps? Do you not get the opportunity to hit backcountry jumps?

Being from So Cal the opportunity to build backcountry jumps is nonexistent. On my out of state trips my friends and I look for every opportunity we can to build features, wall drops, jibs…... Beyond that, I am a park girl. I ride park about 60+ times a year.

Next time I'm in your hood lets go out and build some kickers!

I have seen girls help build and hit some huge backcountry jumps.

I have a picture in my office that I took of this girl doing a front side grab off a jump in the backcountry 10 years ago - the jump was only about 3ft, but the mountain dropped away at a very steep angle. When she hit the jump, she was at least 4 ft above the top of the jump, but at the apex she was at least 40ft above the powder below and she landed it! It was really fun to watch.

Good Luck
