Legitimate Question ***

In a sandwich, a salad? Perhaps pickled or seasoned? I have a few in the fridge and want to know if you have any interesting recipes you could share with me. I have tried it with red wine vinegar and lemon, italian dressing, but I want to try something new.

Thanks

I like them just as they are maybe with a little salt and Pepper or in a sandwich.
There are many things you can do with cucumber depending on which variety you have. The big green fat ones or the long thin Lebonese cucumbers then there are the acid free white ones and the prickerly ones.

Is it an english cucumber, i.e. no seeds? If so then make a cucumber sandwich! Use white bread and put either butter or cream cheese on both slices, then layer thinly sliced cucumber, then sprinkle a little salt and voila you have a delicious cucumber sandwich! I love them!

I like to slice them up really thin and eat them with mozzarella cheese and stone ground wheat crackers with a little bit of tuna marinated in lemon juice salt and pepper. It's a pretty good snack.

I don't have it handy, but I actually have a recipe for cooked cucumbers. You basically slice them fairly thin, then dredge in seasoned flour and quickly saute. Serve hot with lemon juice.

I love them in a chicken fillet sub with salt and pepper, and a squirt of mayo on the top.

I love cukes. I eat them in sandwiches of all kinds, sliced very thin, in salads, by themselves, in sushi, as pickles, in turkish wraps with lamb and hummus....yum!
