It is not a new problem, it is just the temptation is greater because information is easier to get. For most things use rules of thumb. Do not look for the cheapest price, but just a reasonable price so you do not feel riped off. Judge politicians based on only important issues. Remember that not knowing something precisely is not the same as knowing nothing. Do not make the perfect the enemy of the good.
