Your initial question was good but the follow-ups strayed from the theme. What the question means is that is it better to have experienced love in your life and then lose it, whether to death or break-up, or is better never to have experienced those intense overwhelming emotional feelings because when you do lose them, you are left either damaged or longing for a reocurrence of those emotions.
I don't understand what givers and beggars mean or how they relate. Beggars never have to accept anything from anyone. They ask for what you don't need. Givers constitute a positive aspect doesn't it?

I think this is true. At the time of loss, the pain is terrible. But the pain does pass and then you are glad of the relationship that you had, and the experiences it gave you.

Loss may come from the end of an affair, from divorce or from bereavement; the only way never to risk loss is never to love or have friendships; and that would be like living life in black & white instead of colour.

That does not mean you should allow yourself to be used and abused. If a worthwhile loving relationship does not seem to be coming your way, then pursue other goals, and when you are happy and confident, love will find you.

I am now happily re-married to my second husband after thinking I would not find love again, so never say never.

Loving is the most enriching sentiment there is. Without it, I don't think life is worth living it. There are many types of love too, if you ask this question to a parent who lost a young child, you know what the answer is going to be. So, in a man/woman love relationship I don't see why the answer be otherwise. Yes, is best to love and lose. ♥

Yes, it is much better to have loved and lost, because you would experience what love feels like and if you love someone very much, you are able to let him go. You would have gained a lot and you would come out a winner, because you know how to let go and move on.

No. Just because someone has never loved, doesn't mean it'll never happen. There are plenty of opportunities out there to get your heart ripped apart. Don't fret. You'll have lots to cry about soon enough.

because when u have loved and lost, you have acctually experienced "love". like when u have loved and lost a whole new world of emotions and ideas enters ur brain and heart. but if u never loved, then u never got the chance for these feelings.

Yes it is, because you learn from it and it builds your character so that the net time you are in a relationship you try harder and give it your all

It is better to have loved and lost, then to simply lead a lonely life.
