My friends will voice their opinion sometimes without the intention to hurt anyone. Well, the other night they called me a liar, directly, flat out called me "a liar". When i asked them what i lied about they could only think of one thing but it was the truth. They know though that i am the one they can trust with any secret, I am the best friend of the entire group. I have never lied to them. I don't even lie at all about anything. It hurts that they accused me of this, because i strive so hard to be honest and trustworty. Should I say something to them? What should I do?

Tell them how you felt about them calling you a liar.

If they respond to you in a negative way, then it's time for you to get new friends.

It sounds like they're conspiring against you anyway. They've already called you a liar. What's next?

You might not want to stick around to find out.

yes you should definitely say something to them. Ask them why they accused you of being a liar. Ask them if you have in any way been deceitful to them...if you've ever betrayed them. If YOU know the answers to these questions are no then turn things around on them...THEY'RE the liars and they know it. This all sounds really stupid what you're friends are doing, I'm sorry I just have to say that. Their actions seem childish...tell them to talk to you when they stop being idiots.

Kids call each other names without thinking, all of the time... they should apologize, but don't hold your breath...

I'm sorry you are hurt and upset over this, but the fact is YOU know you are not a liar, and that is what is important.

take care.
