OK, I've got a paper dress and paper skirt from the 1960's. And of course paper is made from a tree. This is not a joke. My Mom saved them for me as she thought I would enjoy them later on. They're very small now, couldn't wear them if I wanted to, I was a little girl.
So my tree skirt is blue with pretty red flowers!!!!

Mine is a handmade patch work quilt tree skirt that my husband's great aunt made for us. The solid areas are burgundy, gold, dark green & dark teal. Closer to mallard.
The patterned areas all have Christmas themes. Holly, Santa, snowmen, candy canes, sleighs, etc. It is the only one we have & we have been using it since our 1st Christmas after we were married 15 years ago.
