I would love to see these two tennis icons face off.Make it fair,everyone gets to play with their own rackets,etc.I bet Connors would make it competitive.The guy still practices,still works out and is STILL capable of playing amazing tennis.

Connors was a great returner back in the days
but he was slow
had no flash in his game
Roger would trounce Jimmy C back to Roddick and be done with it
Roger has the serve
backhand
movement
return of serve
speed
spins
anticipation
and the patience to beat Connors to pulp
Roger's demeanor alone would be enough to break Connors down and all his shenanigans!

Roger Federer would win. I hope Roger plays tennis for as many years as he possibly can. I hope he goes out like Agassi, and doenst just retire young, but fights till he can't walk anymore!

yeah definetely even match there, but i think you have to give it to connors. i play tennis a lot and the old racquets are just to much hassel, also some of the older players still you the same racquets they did before today and they are great with them. For example, I saw roddick and his coach rallying and it was amazing to see how good the players are with those racquets.

stop living in the past already. Connors was a great fighter but stand him next to Federer, i couldn't even call him an athlete.
