What would being foreign have to do with the ability to coach?

Does it matter that Cricket is a "Foreign" sport originating in England in the 13th century?

Yes it is a good idea to have an outsider coach India as it is fact that the Indian team is not overly endowed with coaching type brains ~~

no not necessarily. they are plenty of good coaches in india too. i think the indians think just cos he is a foreigner he is something good. they should have given the chance to an indian I think. i hope it doesnt turn out like greg chappell's affair.
