Last time I checked this was a different team , and another year , what does that really have to do with this year ???? remember we are 4-1 in BCS Bowls and if I used your flawed logic we are 1-0-1 vs LSU in the 80's but that does not really matter right but if I use your logic I guess it does .
You have never seen me talk S-H-I-T I always present my posts and answers with respect to others , Honestly I have seen more crap posted by SEC fans than Buckeye fans so chill out and have a little class try to set an example don't be a follower .

Chayna, last year was the rebuilding year.
AJ Hawk
Bobby Carpenter
Nick Mangold
Donte Whitner
Santonio Holmes. All but Carpenter are doing very well and Carpenter has had injury problems. The defense was so young in the NC game that 8 players are back from the team this year, and they only have one senior on defense. OSU had a good QB, and a couple good receivers last year, but that isn't how OSU wins games. They win with defense and a strong offensive line, and neither was very strong last year. I think the LSU and OSU both are not fielding the best teams they have had in the last five years, but it should be a good game. The only trash I will talk about LSU is their fans are more obnoxious than buckeye fans, which is saying a lot, and New Orleans is a third world hell hole. I think they have a very good football team, and cant wait to see what happens.

Ok, I have to agree with Berry. I'm not an OSU fan and really didn't want to see them in the game but. . . .
This is not Troy Smith and the Buckeyes against Chris Leak and the Gators in Glendale, AZ, January, 2007. This is Ohio State vs LSU in New Orleans, January, 2008. So with that being said. This is a totally different game and nearly two totally different teams. I really don't care who wins because I'm not really interested in the NC game this year. I would not mind seing OSU win because LSU is overrated and that will shut everyone up about what happened in the past. I still think that LSU have the upper hand in this game because it's played in New Orleans, LOUISIANA which virtually gives LSU home field advantage and the majority of the crowd will be rooting for LSU. And I don't think any team will ever learn when they are constantly in a National Title game no matter how many they lose (remember the Buffalo Bills?).

Hahahaha haters. GO BUCKS!!!!!!!!!! Hate all you want, but who's playing for the championship, AGAIN? The cream always rises to the top. It's amazing how another chance at a title will wash a bitter taste out of your mouth. What is worse? The OSU playing for the championship or the fact that this was a rebuilding year. They lost two receivers and a quarterback from their team last year, and they are back again this year. Eat it LSU, Beanie is gonna rub your face in it. OSU didn't have a running game last year and suffered because they lost their #1 receiver in the NC game. This year they don't even need to throw the ball, but if they do they have the two Brians there to haul it in (Robiskie and Hartline). SEC has speed? So do the Buckeyes. OSU has a nasty defense led by juniors, yes, juniors James Laurinaitis and the man with the biggest guns in college football DE Vernon Gholston. The man's biceps are so big he returned a fumble for a touchdown against Northwestern and the announcer said he couldn't tell if "that was the football or his biceps."
LSU has a revolving door at quarterback with Ryan Perrilloux (the man that told a newspaper that he was going to win 4 Heisman trophies) and his lacerated finger and Matt Flynn the man that chokes on cream of wheat who has a hurt arm. The Defense has been inconsistent in the last few weeks with Glenn Dorsey's knee keeping him out of 3 quarters of the SEC championship game. Jacob Hester has lost 10 years off of his life this year with all of the hits he's taken. Just to let you SEC elitists know, LSU isn't as good as you think they are. Haha!!! The only advantage LSU has is that they are playing a home game. Oh and for all you people that think time off will help Dorsey: chronic knee problems don't correct themselves in five weeks.

OOH A GOOD OLE ARGUMENT this is fun. I wont say anything about my team as we messed up our shot. What i will say is Georgia could certainly lay the smackdown on LSU. I think OSU can beat LSU if and only if they have the speed. As for OSU playing in the title game, the team has a lot of proving to do as the BCS is now called the football pagentry where only the prettiest teams go to the big dance.

Short memory or higher priorities? Beating Michigan when the Big Ten powerhouses were the BCS 1 and 2 last year was more important than the national championship. OSU may have lost out on the championship but any true buckeye (or stinkin wolverine) only cared about the rivalry game. The biggest rivarly in its biggest hour would drain any team. This year we easily dispatched that team up north and now we can turn our full attention to the dirty south. My guess is LSU gets about one first down a quarter in an OSU blow out.

Ha, you SEC fans are fun. I love how you justify the strength of your entire conference based on one game last year. Never mind the fact that the SEC lost to Big Ten teams in two other bowls last year, or the fact that the Big Ten has more BCS bowl appearances than the SEC, or even the fact that the Big Ten has a winning all time record against the SEC. Florida won last year, so lets hail the SEC, the greatest conference ever.

From what I heard even though they are the #1 team in the nation right now, Ohio State is already set as the underdog going into this game against LSU.
And as far as last year, that's last year. There's different players this year. And your assuming that LSU is going to walk all over Ohio State. Well, remember this. We will never know what happens till the game is played. Predictions aside, that's ALL they are predictions.

Well, for a rebuilding year, I think OSU is doing pretty well, being ranked #1, and getting in the National Championship Game regardless of the outcome.
It is a REBUILDING year for OSU, we're this good after loosing the bulk of our key players to the NFL. We're this good while we rebuild. Other teams are rebuilding this year too, like Notre Dame, and look at their results.
So I guess no matter what happens, it's been a good REBUILDING year for us.

You all like talking sht about OSU but No. 1 two years in a row at the end of the season speaks for itself. True they did get beat bad in the Championship game (after losing a major key player first drive of the game), but where is Florida now??? That's right 9-3 and ranked 12th! So keep talking sht and we will see where the chips fall !! I call OSU by 2 TDs.
