The place I go to charges $25.00 for a full set of nails and $15.00 for fills every 2 weeks. I would recommend getting french tips because they look the best. And you can even add in rhinestones to make it more fancy. Good luck! I'm sure your nails will look great no matter what you choose to do to them!

Expect to pay about $40 or more for a full set. If you are paying under $25, then you are going to a 'discount' salon. These places will more often than not ruin your nails, cause you much physical pain (getting your nails done should NEVER hurt, not even a little bit), and they always use the cheapest products available (hence, the low prices). It is this type of salon which ruin your nails, and then people blame the acrylic for it. Its the unskilled techs at these places who ruin nails, not the acrylic. Avoid them. Typical 'discount' salons are places like you find in Walmart, and strip malls - and malls too. There is usually a big time language barrier at them too. What good is it if you can't even communicate with the techs?
But to be fair, I have seen plenty of Americans who also do a poor job on nails, but at a higher cost.
You just have to find an experienced, highly skilled tech. They are not always easy to find, but when you find one, the difference it makes is unbelievable. Your nails will look better than ever before. Good techs are out there, you just have to find them.
There are many different possibilities with acrylic nails. There are also many different colors, and styles. A skilled tech can do amazing things with your nails. A discount salon will give you what you paid for - basic, no frills nails.
Here is an example of what I am talking about. These are pics of acrylic nails done by a highly skilled tech. Ever seen nails like this that were done at a discount salon?

I love getting my nails done with a bunch of girlfriends. I would just get the acrylic french tip with a natural length. Those are the prettiest and most feminine I think. They cost about 25 dollars but it depends on where you go.

I'm always getting my nails done!
I absolutely love it..
Im actually going in 2 days to get them done and
I have to pay 25$ for a full set and then 15$ to fill them.
But I always go with a french manicure and I'll have them
put a silver glitter line over it to make it stand out :]

I like getting the french tip acrylic with red tips squared off, but you can get the tips oval or squared and the color can be what ever color you like. It cost me 25 dollars to get them done with a 5.00 tip.

it's like $20.
And it's not all that fun... all that dust and it smells so awful!! But if you want your hands to look extra pretty then I guess it's worth it.
