Asking questions like "do we really have a right to nuclear weapons over Iran?"

This can't be a serious question! Of course it's in our best interest to have the best and greatest military in the world. Why in the world would a person want to even the odds for our enemies?

Since they are more concerned with their personal agendas, the liberals forgot the value of this great country. Also, the liberals forgot being in public service is a privilege not an entitlement.

But wouldn't it also be in Iran's interest to have the best and greatest military?

As Americans, looking at what is in our best interest is important. However, you cannot be blind to other people's points of view. How can we be a moral leader in the world if we only did what was in our best interest? Would we listen to another country if they are doing what they claim we shouldn't? Certainly not.

We're seeing the results of such behavior from this administration - the US's influence in the world has been diminished. And as we are, and always will be, part of the larger world community, that is, in the end bad, for our self interests.

So, there is always a point in asking questions.

Eradicating all nuclear weapons doesn't even the playing field with our enemies. We have the biggest military budget on the planet by far, and many of our enemies don't even have guns made in the last 30 years, much less a well-equipped Air Force.

Getting rid of all nuclear weapons is the responsible thing to do since a war between two nuclear powers could create a global catastrophe.

Ummm... I am a liberal and I hardly ever stop thinking about what's best for my country...

That's why I'm a "Top Contributor" right now... cuz I post alot of stuff that deals with exactly that topic.

I am also a patriot... like the Liberals who founded this nation.

When did conservatives all decide to start generalizing and picking on groups of people who disagree with their politics?

So if someone posted "Will Hitlery Klintoon make a screechy noise that all the liberals will just love tonight?"
Would you really want me to associate that question with your entire group of family, friends, teachers, ideology, religion, sexuality and political mindset?

After JFK was killed. He was the last President who was a true Democrat. All the other "democrat" Presidents were not true Democrats and have become more Socialistic in nature. They go against the very foundations of what our Constitution set forth for us.

Social programs (be it Healthcare, welfare, Social Securty) are going to be the death of our nation.

Its interesting to note that some liberals actually agree that they stopped thinking about what is best for America. How do you explain that? Guess the true colors always shine through.

Liberals don't understand the concept of "Peace through strength" that won the Cold War. They also believe that Iran hates us for reasons that are our own fault...a falacy.

Don't get stressed over what they don't understand. Contribute to your causes, vote in every election, and don't run away from the culture war.
