im going to japan in 10 days, and my main purpose isnt to see culture or buildings or touristy stuff, i just wanna go out and party and get hammered after full time work and 19 hour semesters. any places i can get throwed at for cheap, and meet some forigners and meat some locals too?

why waste your time and money to get pissed in Japan??? you have a good life right?? lol go to a bar near your home and get wasted if that is what you want..it amazes me that there is people like you...

Yeah, if you go to a "stand bar" you don't get a seat but you do get cheap beer. There are also "nomihoadai" deals-as in all you can drink. If you want to get legless "nomihodai" is the way to go. In the neighborhood of 3000 yen for two hours of open bar is typical.
A lot of yakitori joints and izakaya are really just an excuse to sell lots of draft and chuhai at reasonable prices. At those joints you could get a really big, very frosty mug of Sapporo for 700 yen or so. If you go to one of the izakaya that fills your sake glass until it overflows into a little box, that's a good deal too. I would say go the izakaya until 23:00 or so and then head to a club. Clubs are likely to be open until the beer machines turn on again at 05:00. To gather intel on nightspots in any given neighborhood I go to the nearest Kirin City or whatever and ask the barman if he knows any good spots to go to after he closes up. Enjoy!

Go to Gaspanic. There is one in Shibuya and Roppongi.
They have happy hour all drinks 400 yen deal, which is a very good deal for a night club.... do expect to spend more than 800 yes else where. And Gaspanic is known for having many foreigners, so you can probably meet English speaking ppl there.

You don't even say what part of Japan you'll be in. SOunds like you've got a crappy trip planned, go to Roppongi and waste your time.
