They got away with one tonight as they have many times in past 6 years but I think considering how many times they actually win close games it's fair to say that they make their luck. Think about it, there are only two times in past 5 seasons when things haven't gone their way in close encounters. One was at Denver and the other with the Colts both in play-offs.

There is a lot of luck in football, and the New England Patriots are no exception. But the fact that Brady is having an outstanding season could be luck, or else he is one of the luckiest NFL QBs.

Yes, the Patriots are lucky...that the other teams are incompetents and greedy so that is why they blow their games.

Luck didnt fall on the Pats only, but on other teams well. Have you seen how Bills won against Redskins? That is luck too...In favor of Bills because the Redskins coach didn't know one crucial rule and he single-handedly blew the game.

Billick blew it when he called that bogus time out when the stopped Brady on fourth and one. The officials then called those invisible penalties and then it was GAME OVER! Simply bogus.
