It's kind of ironic that they call themselves pro-choice isn't it considering that only one person's choice matters. The father's choice doesn't matter nor does the baby's right to life.
95% of all abortions are abortions performed as a method of birth control. The remaining 4 to 5 percent (standard deviation) are performed as medical emergencies or due to rape.
People grieve over miscarriages. People go to jail for double murder for killing a pregnant women. I guess what our culture is saying is that it's a woman's choice to take the life of an unborn baby, not God's and not any man's. Seems kind of backwards in today's society.
Abortion isn't going anywhere, but when are we going to start putting regulations on them?

As a pro-lifer, how many babies have you adopted?
I honestly wonder how any pro-lifers have time to argue the point when there is so much good they could be doing for those who are born into hopeless circumstances.
There are orphanages all over the world which are full of children that nobody wants, so if you care about other peoples' reproductive choices enough to believe that you are making the world a better place by enforcing no choice you should be part of the solution and not part of the problem.
It's really sad to think that a human life could be called a "problem", isn't it? Adopt as many as you can. They need your love.

Nope, many are pro-choice. A fetus is not a human - it is not self-aware, or conscious, or able to communicate. It doesn't even feel pain until the seventh month of pregnancy (and I think if you've waited that long to make up your mind, you might as well go through with it if it's not going to hurt you or the fetus). Yes, human life is precious - why should a woman have to suffer through a pregnancy she may have had no choice in to have a child she doens't want? Why should she have to ruin her life, and possibly that of the childs? Sure, I think all human life is precious. But I don't consider every one of my eggs and everyone one of a guy's millions of sperm to be a person. So you would consider a pregnant 10 year old, who was raped by her father and doesn't want to have a child that may kill her to deliver it equal to a 'religious whackjob'? I hope you will never be in that position to make that kind of a choice. However, not every abortion is like that. If I found myself to be pregnant now, I would get an abortion. I have plans for my life, and they don't include kids at the moment.

My mother has always been pro-choice, she just had no reason to ever have an abortion. Now that I've got my own life I'm glad I'm alive, but if I'd died before I had any thoughts or anything resembling self-awareness it wouldn't have mattered at all. I've told people that if I'm ever in a vegetative state that they should pull the plug. Without my consciousness I cease to be human; I'm merely a body.
A woman can have many children in her lifetime if she chooses. If she has an abortion at a young age, she might have children later on that she wouldn't have had otherwise. Because she waited, she has her life in order and can give those kids a better chance at happiness. Aren't THOSE kids glad that their mother was pro-choice?

My mother wasn't pro-life; She was born in a time period when 'pro-life' and 'pro-choice' weren't considered.....there wasn't ever a choice for her to make. Sure, I'm glad I am here, but I still think she and all women should be able to make the choice for themselves. IMO, Adoption is nearly always a better answer, but I can't deny that there are reasons why a woman shouldn't be forced to carry an unwanted/medical risk pregnancy to term.

You can be pro-choice, and at the same time, keep your baby. Po-choice is about supporting the right to choose, not necessarily being FOR abortion all the time. Common misconception

I'm pro-choice and so is my mother and yes she has had abortions 3 to be exact. I support her and her decision. I never understand ppl like you. If you don't believe in abortions simply don't have one. Why do you feel the need to infringe on lives that don't effect yours. Mind your own damn business! If my mother had aborted me, it wouldn't matter what I thought I wouldn't be here. If you are meant to be born than you will be, nothing is coincidence.

Based on how many children are treated by their abusive parents, foster care, and orphanages, and based on the number of young adults who kill themselves, I'd say quite a few pro-choicers wish their mother had not had them.

Honestly seeing pro-choicers sometimes makes me want to choose pro-choice. For another human to believe they can decide the fate of another life form, does not deserve to have life of there own. Its sick how abortion is nothing to some people.
