Okay I work at Applebee's. There is this one manager who is a complete a$$. He is an older fella... Theres a few he picks on but I see myself being one of the biggest few. Everything I do is basically wrong to him. He says things to me infront of my co-workers and customers that I think all he's trying to do is embarrass me. He gets along much better with the older people. Is that really fair? I live in Minnesota, we just got a ton of snow a couple days ago. And of all people who work there.. he made my little self go shovle. At least he could have had others help.

Opinions Neeed!

Sweety I think you should look for another job, you could do babysitting, assistante, work in another restaurant as waiter... But only quit this one when you find another one and don't use this one as reference, cause you know what could happen? He will say you are a bad worker and fire you! Than when you quit, leave the place but first say in front of everyone, out loud; I quit, I would rather work wipping Sadam Hussein's a ss in hell then work for an a ss wipe like you whose dick is covered in spider webs cause no one has sat on it for tha past hundred years!!! But you know, maybe he likes you cause from your picture, YOU ARE HOOOT!!! Maybe he likes you but knows he is got no chance! You are too cute to be shouvelling snow from an Applebug's I mean bee's!

I am from Minnesota and I know how bad it gets when there's a snow storm. A ton of snow. No it's not fair for him to do that. He should have had someone help you out. And he shouldn't be saying things to embarass you in front of people. That's a form of harassment.

Its not about being fair. Its a job just like any other job. There is going to be days when all goes well. Then days were it gets a little rough. Please take it with a grain of salt. Most important keep you head up and do your job the best you can.Things have a way of working out for the best.Hang in there.

If you can afford to quit do so other wise smile and keep your mouth shut while you are looking for a new job. Remember people that put you down for no apparent reason are suffering from low self esteem or they are *******. In either case you are doomed. I would keep on looking for a new job and try to keep your head up high.

it's hard to give you an opinion having heard from one side only; anyways i think your manager is not being nice. That is totally unacceptable, but then again you are under his command so whatever he says goes; ps; i had such a boss a while ago.

Doesn't sound too fair especially about just making you shovel snow. Look for another job. Good luck.

No it´s not fair and you should complain to the area manager or someone who is his senior.

I think he has a romantic thing for you that he knows can never be fulfilled so he takes it out on you in frustration.
If you were in Calif you could sue his @ss.

And is very fair and reasonable when she violently shakes us down for the cash...
