ln(x+1/x+3) = 1

e^ln(x + 1/x + 3) = e^1

x+1/x+3 = e

x + 1 = e(x + 3)

x + 1 = ex +3e

x - ex = 3e - 1

x(1 - e) = 3e - 1

x = (3e - 1/1 - e)

(x + 1) / (x + 3) = e^1
x + 1 = e (x + 3)
x + 1 = e x + 3e
(1 - e)x = 3e - 1
x = (3e - 1) / (1 - e)
x = - 4.16

e=(x+1)/(x+3)
ex+3e=x+1
ex-x=1-3e
x=(1-3e)/(e-1)
