Regardless of what any report says, Americans have no right legally and especially morally, to tell another country what it can and cannot build. Nukes are Ignorant and stupid to own by any country, especially in the hands of Americans, who have already used them. But certainly this report is more than welcomed by the rest of the sane world. Americans do not think, period, they react. Proof, Iraq and Afghanistan, Planning the rebuilding of Iraq with an outdated lonely planet guide, Americans are war mongers and salivating racists, their history is proof of that. They will use any pretext to genocide another race of people. so as welcome as this report is, I am certain they will fabricate another truth in order to wipe out more people for oil or whatever riches America needs to keep its financially and morally bankrupt country going.

The recently disclosed CIA intelligence rewards Iran for stopping their gorilla war against the American occupation of Iraq, and cools the level of the cold war between Iran and the US. The same intelligence was withheld in 2003 to create war hysteria against Iran, in order to make possible a military attack against them and to intimidate Iran by making them believe we would attack them. Barring such an attack, Bush II can attempt to pressure Iran into backing off of Iraq. The CIA releases the intelligence that will support the plans of Bush II. It is not an open democratic institution. For war against Saddam in Iraq it lied with claims of WMD. For the attempted attack against Iran (which now is on hold) it lied about the state of Iranian weapons development. Bush I was head of the CIA, and while he was there crafted a plan for military domination of the region, building underground bunkers in the desert of Saudi Arabia that we still occupy. When he became President, Bush I began to engage his plan by goading Saddam to attack Kuwait by telling him through diplomatic “back channels” the US would not object if he would take over Kuwait (an historical province of Iraq). Once Saddam invaded of course, Bush I unleashed war plans that allowed the US to remain in the region with military forces. As a democracy we cannot trust the CIA to give us truthful information. The elite view in government is that public opinion in a democracy has to be managed and manipulated. Fear of WMD seems to be their preferred method. In fact, Iran is developing WMD. One must question, however, how much of this is a self-fulfilling process resulting from Iran attempting to protect itself against the bullying of the Bush dynasty.

The neocons will either ignore it, or blame it on the dems.

I am so damned glad this came to light.
Takes one hell of a lot of steam out of that inhuman monsters dream of killing thousands, along with filling up our veterans hospitals with the walking dead.

That man is a mass murderer.
This war mongering proves it.

To the Hague with him and good riddance, along with Cheney, Rice and all the other monsters.

Peace

Bush and Co. are war criminals - stupid or not they should be put on trial in the Netherlands. They have zero credibility, as well as the country they represent.

Problem is Bush never said that Iran already had them. And the report doesn't say that Iran won't develop them.
What I find funny is that the same people that slam Bush for "blindly" accepting the Intel on Iraq (provided during the Clinton administration) are slamming him for not doing the same for this NIE report.

I'm not for going to war with Iran however, it's pretty obvious, to many other reports, that they are developing Nuclear weapons. What's this "intelligence report?" Moveon.org?

Just recently they kicked the IAEA out of Iran. So what's this intelligence report? Did they report come from a Tehran official?
