Okay, we know that there really is no way right now, that we can know if there are other civilizations out there somewhere. But! Do you think that it is possible that sometime in the near future, we could intercept some of their frequencies? Some say this has already been done and is top secrete classified information. I have no idea. I figure that could be a matter of opinion. But to me, it does seem very possible! Am I wrong? Since there are so many stars and galaxies out there, I am certain that there has to be another planet similar to ours. Whether there are civilizations, dinosaurs, or other animals on those planets of course remains a mystery. I am fascinated by this though. Its quite interesting.

How can you be certain when no proof or evidence exists?
Probability does not make something fact.
The truth is that single stars are outnumbered by binary and multiple systems by a 1:4 ratio.
The number of stars is not proof of alien life.
Your question is a simple twist to 'do you believe in aliens'.

with a conspiracy hoax theory thrown in.
Why not wait until there is a shred of evidence like the rest of us before postulating hypotheses?

Ever heard of SETI? That's what it's all about. Radio surveys have been conducted for 40 years. Even in the late 70s, they had equipment which could monitor 100,000 frequencies at the same time and use an algorithm for detecting patterns that may be intelligent.
The government would have neither the need nor the ability to keep it a secret. The day an intelligent signal is actually received, it will be in the news bigger than Pearl Harbor.

I refuse to believe that we are in-fact the only living beings in the universe, Whether there is in-fact intelligent life forms can be debatable, but a living being can be as simple as a single celled bacteria, which does mean that in a long time, it could do what some believe happened to earth and eventually beings would evolve into other living things. Also if we would ever make contact with them is a whole other story. Also some believe in parallel universes, for this to be true, there would possibly be infinite universes but we would probably never make contact with anything like that.

It is quite possible. The radio and tv signals we have emitted has reached 15000 stars by now. Any aliens picking those signals up would be able to watch us grow as a species and even come close to self annihilation. Picking up similar signals from another world, the first little bleepetibleeps, would be truly fasctinating. Suppose we get such signals from a world 10000 lightyears away. It would mean that they would be on a technological level 9900 years ahead of us...

Well Dude, there are few hopes and theories and people are doing and dwelling in research for the same. There can be a finet chance. You may be right.
It is not necessary that there should exist dianosaurs. May be some other monsters or creatures.
But what is the problem is our life is Yet short. Only our future generations may learn such things. But as of now there is no evidence.

It's entirely possible if there really is life out there, that we could pick up a radio signal from them. There are actually radio astronomers out there who are actively searching for such signals, although so far they've found nothing conclusive. SETI (the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) was a group that was originally funded by NASA but I think congress pulled the funding so now SETI is privately funded. You can read about it here http://www.seti.org/

there was this young couple out parking when the radio announced that a insane one-armed murderer just escaped from the asylum... and... and... there was a claw!
ok... urban myths usually are based on some scrap of truth wound up somewhere.
there was a brief moment in time when astronomers DID spot unusual signals and when this got to the press, they jumped to conclusions. What they heard was pulsars, which we now know to be natural.
I won't believe anything i hear from space until some signal plays the drumbeat from Hogan's Heroes back at me. (and then I will expect it is an echo)

there are a 100 billion billion planets in the universe so, odds are, there are other civilizations out there. The problem is that the stars are spaced out so much, we could go through our entire human existance without hearing a peep.

I would love to believe but I think the human race is either too soon or too late ie its already happened (perhaps the reason the Dinosaurs disappeared is because they, the aliens called and the dinos left with them) or they haven't called yet.

You assume they use radio waves.
Would a cave man on an evolving planet far away ever pick up radio waves from Earth?
