Just state what it is, in relation to belief that "God" is the higher mind/love/creator/all that is.

What does that belief actually believe?

It is only on here that they surface for me, and I would like to know what people are referring to.
I took the Belief-o-matic thingy on the web, and "it" says my belief is hinduism/buddhism.
I actually have not idea what I would call myself.
I know I can understand and embrace much from many different beliefs, but this is the thing, not all of it.
"Curiouser and curiouser" said Alice.

Please share what it is that is the meaning of your actual belief, or life values?

You have quite a legion of followers if the number of replies you receive to your questions is any indicator, and I must admit that I am one of them. You fascinate me, you have given us tid bits of information about yourself, you are big on philosophy and spiritual things and it is obvious that you are quite intelligent, but it baffles me why you would waste time on such nonsense as Belief-o-matic. Do you also take those meaningless IQ tests that are the net? Anyone who believes that God is the highest of all that exists has a serious problem. All of the categories you list above have been embraced by those who have no education or a lack of ability to apply any knowledge of the real world that they may possess in such a way as to be able to see these beliefs for that are. Sharing my beliefs with you will be a waste of time.

Astro...I took your Belief-o-matic test (thanks...what fun!) and scored as you did (Hindu & Buddhism), with the addition of Taoism and Neo-Paganism. The line-up from there down (and including the first four) was in accord with the winding path I have followed from my first searching for "God." Noting this reinforced that awakening is a long process for me as I move further away from sleep and ignorance. As a manifested being (while manifested, that is) I practice compassion and openness to all beings, including Nature in all her aspects. I am alive...a pulsating, morphing bundle that is "becoming," whatever that means. As I have been on YA I have more and more relaxed into my individual process, gleaning (as I always have) from other approaches. We all know there are many paths to self-realization, and all of the quibble in the world about right way/wrong way or judging where another is in their "journey" does not change that we are all from the same Source and returning (realizing, re-cognizing, awakening, etc.) to that Source, whatever we choose to call IT. We are like children, scurrying all over the playground, involved in different activities and games, but we will all be called in from recess ultimately. I so honor this forum and its diverse and loving respondents. As to "belief," I believe I have none; as with labels, I feel beliefs are limitations, and I am constantly evolving, so cannot halt that evolution (or expansion in consciousness) through stagnant belief. Jesus Christ says, Verily verily, I say unto you, "He that believes in me and the works that I do, shall he do also, and Greater Works than these shall he do because I go to the Father above.
John 14:12 Jesus Christ also says, "I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life and NO ONE comes to the Father but by me.
Here we learn the true belief..All other beliefs do not have God's seal of approval and will not stand the test of eternal consequenses..Those who believe otherwise shall not have the favor of Almighty God. The death of God's Son on the cross was not a vain sacrifice but there is none other sacrifice one must receive in order to make Heaven their home. There is no other way, there is no other belief....

Sathya Sai Thought for the Day,

Truth is one. It is beyond mind and speech. It transcends the limitations of time and space. Innumerable seekers have pursued different paths to recognise this Truth. There are notable differences among the seekers of Truth. These differences do not affect the nature of Reality. On the contrary, it is the existence of these differences that has spurred the continuous search for a unifying principle.

Borrowed knowledge can serve the purpose to some extent. Answers are to be discovered by your own self. Get rid of crunches of belief and realize the Truth yourself!

Go beyond contradictions by accepting them, as they are different perspectives of the same Truth. Remember Mind is clever and always tries to consolidate answers for it’s convenience. Have quest for knowledge and live with questions! A time will come when questioner will be no longer there!

I believe for every drop of rain that falls, a flower grows
I believe that somewhere in the darkest night, a candle glows
.....
Every time I hear a newborn baby cry, or touch a leaf
or see the sky,
Then, I know why - I believe.

Belief is the absence of knowing. Perhaps it is the thing that many require to get them to attaining knowing? I know God. I do not believe in God. I believe it may be a sunny day tomorrow. Being a spirit in a body, with awareness of itself, and of the all, the one, stems from knowing. Knowing is our essential nature....it is the love.....it is all already residing within. There is nothing to believe. Either one is awareness in action or one is not. The one that is not awareness of the all, the one, in action, is lost in belief.
