I have an opinion already on who it is and I'm really interested what other people think. To people who dont know the details, God told Adam he could eat any fruit on the garden except the tree of knowledge. When Eve was tempted by the snake then passed it through to Adam, both of them realized of their nakedness then was banished by God.

This is my take on it...

I believe it was Adam's fault because of the following reasons:

God specifically told him not to but he still did.
Eve was ignorant of the fact on why was the fruit "illegal"
When God asked who ate the fruit Eve answered that the serpent tempted but she also confessed about the knowledge and asked for forgiveness. Adam didnt even confess bout it even with the knowledge of the law.
Adam couldve said no when the eve told her to try it, Eve was tempted by a former angel but adam was only tempted by a human who really didnt know why its forbidden.

I have more but im too tired to think...

Excellent question.Adam received the command not to eat of the tree directly from God.Therefore, the revelation was stronger to him than it was to Eve,who received the command not to eat of the tree from Adam. The serpent tempted Eve rather than Adam for this reason. It's perhaps why we refer to women as the weaker sex, although in many ways women are actually stronger. Also,Eve did not know the animals of the garden as did Adam who named them. She was less likely to be surprised by a talking serpent.Adam would have known the serpent wasn't supposed to talk. The serpent only spoke due to being possessed by Satan.Eve was beguiled in the temptation but was still charged with sin.Adam sinned willingly. No one really knows his exact motivation.Perhaps he loved Eve so much he was willing to suffer the ravages of sin with her.The Bible charges the fall of the human race to Adam, not Eve.In point of fact, they were not banished from the garden due to sin. They were banished due to God's concern they would eat from the tree of life and live forever in a fallen state.

It is, sorry to say, GOD only. Have you heard the Eve's side story - Read -

After three weeks in the Garden of Eden, God came to visit Eve.

So, how is everything going ? - inquired God.

It is all so beautiful, God - she replied.

The sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking, the smells, the sights, everything is wonderful, but I have just one problem.

It is these breasts you have given me. The middle one pushes the other two out and I am constantly knocking them with my arms, catching them on branches and snagging them on bushes. They are a real pain - reported Eve.

And Eve went on to tell God that since many other parts of her body came in pairs, such as her limbs, eyes, ears, etc..........she felt that having only two breasts might leave her body more - symmetrically balanced.

And God said - That is a fair point - replied God, But it was my first shot at this, you know. I gave the animals six breasts, so I figured that you needed only half of those, but I see that you are right. I will fix it up right away.

And God reached down, removed the middle breast and tossed it into the bushes.

Three weeks passed and God once again visited Eve in the Garden of Eden.

And asked - Well, Eve, how is my favorite creation ? < br > < br > Just fantastic - she replied, But for one oversight. You see, all the animals are paired off. The ewe has a ram and the cow has her bull. All the animals have a mate except me. I feel so alone.

< br > < br > and God thought for a moment and said - You know, Eve, you are right. How could I have overlooked this ? You do need a mate and I will immediately create a man from a part of you. Let us see .......... where did I put the useless boob ?
Now does not THAT make more sense than that crap about the rib?-

So do you agree that God was responsible for the banishment by making the above change ?

The "former angel" was really Satan, the 2nd greatest power in the universe. He not only offered Eve the fruit, but had to offer it 3 times before she bit. So after biting the fruit, she goes to Adam as says one time "Here, eat this" and he does.

This actually proves 2 things.

1. It's God's fault because he created two creatures that he gave a rule to which, being omnipotent, he knew they could not adhere to. And he ALLOWED Satan to do it, because being omnipotent, he could have kept him out of the garden.

2. Men are the weaker sex.

God was the one who banished them, so God is to blame. If God really didn't want them to eat from the tree of life, the God would've used his all powerfulness to stop it somehow. God let it happen, God created the tree of life, God created Adam and Eve, God banished them, so in the end it is God's fault.

Because of the snake Eve got tempted to eat the forbidden fruit because the devil took over the snake body.

Both of them. Eve was wrong to offer the apple to Adam, and Adam was wrong for not having more backbone.

Trying to decide who was more wrong or less wrong is not the issue. The issue is that a sin was committed, by two people. Neither is more guilty or less guilty than the other. There is no small sin or large sin. All sin is equal.

I've always thought it was Adam's fault. After all, God told Adam not to eat the fruit and Adam told Eve what God had told him. Eve disobeyed Adam by eat the fruit, not God. Adam disobeyed God.

I believe it was Eve that ate the apple first and caused the demise of mand-kind. She then tricked Adam in to doing the same thing. Eve was also presented as a lower being than Adam because she was made from the ribs of Adam.

Amen sister! human beings do no longer end to bear in mind the Atonement or they don't have self assurance interior the Atonement like a church that insists all toddlers are to be baptized as they have been born from sin right into a sinful international and that they'll flow to hell in the event that they do no longer seem to be baptized.... heavily human beings, interior the indoors maximum area of your heart, do you incredibly have self assurance God might throw a sparkling born infant in to hell? Yea, i did no longer think of so. Jesus has ATONED FOR ADAM AND EVE'S SIN and each HUMAN THAT HAS EVER LIVED in the international OR WHO would be TAKING THEIR turn in the international. Do you no longer get the undeniable fact that Jesus paid for all the sins of mankind. God gave us the present of repentance that we are able to elect to apply to repent and sin not greater as that's an element of the repentance technique. that does no longer propose you will possibly be a popular flier out and in of the confession sales area to admit, be forgiven by using somebody and then head out the door to do it lower back persistently. Its merely like what number human beings blame God for each little thing undesirable interior the international... do you all no longer end and bear in mind that that's devil that's here in the international tempting and attempting us into sin and then experience in charge and depressed, no longer God.
