We dont hold any opinions about a particular race/nationality. We judge people individually and that is why even though being a small island we have gone ahead. We believe that each and every person has to contribute to this society and world so we dont take gender/nationality into consideration. We are a true face of a multicultural society and everyone lives in peace and security.

I understand 'Chicanas' to be Mexican-Americans. Why would you think you'd get 'jumped' if you were a typical American? I personally have no grudge against Americans, they are no different to any other nationality in my eyes. Good and bad exist in all societies, tolerance is what is needed. If you still feel the need to spend time in our country then do some research on the best places to stay etc.

Hi, I've been to the US several times and have friends who live there. On the whole I have found Americans to be friendly, good fun and in general decent people. The reason why people tend not to like Americans is your overseas policy but then that's your governments fault not yours.

As a whole Americans tend not to travel outside the US, I think the stats are something like only 40% of the population have a passport which means most Americans have no idea about culture, politics of other countries. My suggestion is read up on the places you want to travel to and get a background to the culture.

hi iwent to orlando last yr and found the americans to be no different from us english most are friendly polite and helpful but their are some that are very rude and arrogant now england is mutli culture nation now some places will welcome you with open arms and other places will be weary of you until they get to know you but we tend to take people for what they are not who they are but i think its the same wherever you go on the world as long as you respect their culture and believes you should be ok

I have absolutely no problem with americans.
The only problem I have is with the American president. He does not represent America in the true light that America should be represented in.

I don't personally know any Americans but the ones I have met in the past tend to act superior to others and brag all the time. No offence but that's how they come across to me. I know they are not all the same!

im a dual us/uk citizen here's my advice
americans in england get a mixed reaction due to your age appearance and overall how lloud and oppinionated you are, no one here wants to hear how america is whatever you have to say about it, we see enough tv to have our own opinions, but as i've spent enough time on both sides americans are usually quick to apply stereotyping and everyone here is as varied and usually more aware than americans know about, so be prepared to hear it different than you imagined and not judge to quickly
