I have
an Intel(R) 82915g/gv/910gl express chipset video card
Right now its on 1280by1024 true color 60hz

My computer has 1GB Ram

What do I do?

Go out and spend $300 on a good power supply and graphics card.
Your graphics card is integrated, and therefore weak.
I suggest a 8800 Gt like this one:

(I used to be frustrated when I couldn't play any new games, when I found out that the solution was to upgrade my graphics)

yea you need to buy a new graphics card, a 7900 should do the job for COD2, now if you want to play other games such as COD4 or anything new, then i recommend you getting a 8600 GTS, it runs about 150 bucks right now on tigerdirect.

Also don't forget to get a better power supply, at least get a something in the range of 500 to 600 Watts.

As for the Ram it sounds like you got enough, but it never hurts to have more ram.

Sorry dude, I don't think your graphics card is compatible with the game. I'd look into buying a dedicated graphics card (u can find a good one for around 100 bucks on eBay - try an Nvidia geforce 7900 series). If you really want some good performance, check out the 8800GT (around 270 bucks).

You have enough RAM, it's the onboard video that is the problem.

Uh, lol, thats strange

Anyway onboard chipset video driver is not for 3D gaming. You need a real video card

Get something like GeForce 8600 GT, they are very cheap now. Or if you have extra cash, you can get better graphic card like 8800 GT

This will take just a few seconds to scan your pc. Select Call Of Duty 2 PC and then click "Can I Run It" and you will know exactly where your pc performance stands as far as playing your games. It will also tell you if your system passes or fails and recommends appropriate updates or upgrades.
