You Know, Sometimes, Someplaces, I Ask Myself That Same Question...Should I Apologize, Oh No, Maybe It's For The Best That I Said That, Like Maybe What I Said Was True, And If I Say I'm Sorry, That'd Be Lying, Cause I Still Believe What I Said, Maybe Just Leave It, But Then He Will Be Mad, Oh, Let Him Be Mad, He Should Be, I'm Sad, SO Why Shouldn't He Reflect What I'm Feeling, And At The End Of The Day, We'll Both Be Laying There Thinking The Same Thing, Maybe I Should Apologize, But Neither Of Us Will, And Have Savage Like S*x That Says The Same As I'm Sorry, But Without Speaking A Word. I Know Exactly What Your Asking, Girl, I Have Been There...It Is Confusion Chaotic, Wooo!

I like to clean up my own mess. If I made a mistake, I will rectify it the best I can, apologize if need be, and make amends.
Some mistakes do, like you say, amazingly end up to be the best thing that can happen to a situation. On those rare occasions (very rare) I do wonder if there is such a thing as coincidence and chance.
Sometimes you even find what you have been looking for - in a long long time. Then you say "Well, what do you know?, Isnt this a a stroke of luck or what?"

I believe that each mistake is a lesson to be learned. I get what I need from my mistakes and then put them aside and try not to dwell on the past as the lesson learned can't change the past just the future.

No, not really.. I try to analyze where did i go wrong, and try to rectify the mistake, if i have the means to change it at the moment.. For mistakes that involve long-term complications, i deal with it the best i could, and more cautious the second time around..

If I make a mistake, I try to fix it if it's going to have an outcome that causes problems. Or at least alert others that I have erred. Like things at work.
In my personal life, we make choices for a reason. Be they good, bad or indifferent on how they affect our lives. The purpose is to learn. We don't learn if we don't try. The bad is every bit as important to our lives. Without them, we aren't as able to enjoy the good.

My main focus is, did this mistake hurt anyone other than myself. If I find that no one else was hurt in any way by my mistake than I feel a lot more comfortable taking my time and finding a possible solution...

It depends on whether it's fixable.... If it isn't I make the decision that there must be something I can learn from it, so it isn't a waste of my time. And then in hindsight, I find that that very decision has caused me to grow in ways that I wouldn't have otherwise.

Mistakes are nothing more- than good lessons learned the hard way. Those who ignore those "lessons" -live only half a Life. :)
