If you are referring to the call late in the 4th quarter (I'm not certain whether it was a sack or no gain), according the NFL rules, only the Head Coach or a player on the field can call a timeout. The ref who signaled the timeout because the assistant coach called was WRONG for stopping the game.

Yes, that's gotta be the dumbest move by a coach in any sport in the history of sports.

How was he to know... he saw his defense lined up in a bad formation, he couldn't have known. What was dumber was for the Ravens defense to let the tipped ball sit up in the air for an eternity....

I'd hate to be the guard that has to walk him to his car. That is if he survives the locker room. I bet he feels horrible.
