I hate to look at links like that when answering a question. NO. Most Republicans, like most Democrats, are smart people. They think and care. The problem is that we are all watching a smoke and mirror bit of magic. The neos pick off the weak: the religious right, the under educated, the wealthy, guns-rights nuts, anti-abortion groups, etc. They have fashioned quite a base of the disenfranchised (except for the rich who own the formula). And they have made a cohesive force out of them. Simple plan. Why doesn't anyone else do it?
