If you had asked me this ten years ago, I would have said not trying harder earlier in school, so I could go to college.
Nine years ago, I would have told you my relationship with my father.
Eight years ago, I would have told you not moving out of state and trying life on my own, earlier.
Seven years ago, not dating the med school student.
Six, Not being more assertive with people.
Five, not joining the military.
Four, not going to school, and joining the military.
Three, not waiting to have kids and #4.
Two, not being smart enough to find a way to help my family live a better life.
One, #s 4, 3, 2.
Now, I regret having these regrets. I have left my home state and found a wonderful job. I can support my family, although we are still rebuilding our lives, because we literaly arrived here with nothing but the clothes on our back, and the shoes on our feet. I look at my kids and realize how lucky I am, and that I would regret it more if I didn't have them and their father. The only regret I have now is that I have trusted people far too much in the past, and that I trust far too little now, and that we still cannot get my husband his much needed heart surgery.
I have learned though things will work out in the end. We can do what we can and try as hard as we might, but I have learned to accept that somethings are out of my hands and that I have to flow with the waters sometimes. I have accepted that I cannot control everything, and that somethings happen for a reason. I've also learned that hanging on to a regret is just a waste of time and happiness. It causes you to focus on the past rather than the here and now than the future, and it can prevent you from moving on in one way or another.

Can't really think of any. Everything is working out for me pretty well. Sometimes I wonder what would've happened if I sticked with girls I dated when I was like 18.

That I was not able to have a child in a loving mature relationship with another adult. That I didn't marry for love. That I wasn't able to discover what career was my calling. That God never touched me.
