While I don't agree on all of what Ron Paul is saying, compared to other candidates, it seems to me like he would be a far better choice than any of the other candidates running. He has far more integrity and a cleaner track record than most of the others. He doesn't sugar coat the issues that are going on puts out on the table what none of the other candidates want to touch without dancing around it. Yeah, he's not a smooth talker an his fans may seem annoying to many(what other support does he have besides his fan base?), but he seems to actually care about the future of the country more than just trying to win the election. Just because he brings to light what other candidates won't, does that make him radical or crazy?

Just what can Ron Paul do as president?

He claims to be a strict constitutionalist and states that the federal income tax is unconstitutional. I guess he never heard of the 16th Amendment.

He vows to get rid of the federal income tax, even though Article I, Section 8 of the Constitution gives the power to levy taxes to Congress, not the president. I guess he missed that while serving in the House.

If he doesn't even know what is in the Constitution, why does anyone think Ron Paul would be a good president?

A big part of it might be the mentality that is shown in the first three answers you got. Most people aren't 'against' him -- they just 'support' someone else. He and his supporters condescend to everyone -- because Americans are afraid of this or that -- because Americans are sheep....

Intelligent people don't want that negativity in the White House. You'll never win by insulting your voters.

it makes him radical in the eyes of those that want to continue this charade we have for government who pretense is disgusting.

And the worst thing is that the american people SHOULD be more for the likes of the Ron Pauls and the Dennis Kucinich's and the Joe Bidens...but looks whos considered 2nd and 3rd teir candidates?

It shows just how easy the people are fooled.
And how they really havent a clue on whos the best representatives for their country.

We will all get what we deserve.

For me it is simply that I listen to Ron Paul and disagree with him. He does not represent my views.

Democrats and Republicans are not capable of understanding the concept of having your own personal beliefs but not feeling like the rest of the world should be required to follow those beliefs.
For example, Ron Paul is a pro-lifer but he does not believe it is the governments job to say anything EITHER way, for or against. This concept is not one that democrats or republicans are capable of understanding.
