Thought I would have seen this one by now; "Black Cat Moan" by Beck, Bogert, and Appice. Ah, well.

The Great White Buffalo - Ted Nugent & The Amboy Dukes.

Or,

Evelyn, A Modified Dog - Frank Zappa:

Evelyn, a modified dog
Viewed the quivering fringe of a special doily
Draped across the piano, with some surprise

In the darkened room
Where the chairs dismayed
And the horrible curtains
Muffled the rain
She could hardly believe her eyes

A curious breeze
A garlic breath
Which sounded like a snore
Somewhere near the Steinway (or even from within)
Had caused the doily fringe to waft & tremble in the gloom

Evelyn, a dog, having undergone
Further modification
Pondered the significance of short-person behavior
In pedal-depressed panchromatic resonance
And other highly ambient domains . . .

OK, Smiley had the first one that I thought of. The Nuge rocks. I knew Sarah C would be here with some Floyd also. The only ones I thought of that I don't see here is: The Beatles - "Everybody's Got Something to Hide 'cept For Me and My Monkey" and the song Ringo wrote "Octopus's Garden". I'm sure if I tried harder I'd think of more, but it's early and I have only had one cup of coffee so far this morning.

I'm quite partial to "Rocky Racoon" by the Beatles.

And how about "Little Furry Things" by Dinosaur Jr, he definitely says something about a rabbit.

"Manimal" by the Germs is kindo f about an animal, a manimal to be exact.

"Hound Dog" as performed by Elvis Presley is a nice little rockin' one.

"Crocodile Rock" by Elton John is a fun one.

"I Wanna Be A Bear" by the Descendents is a great song about wanting to be an animal and what he'd do if he was one.

All great!
