MLB pulled in almost $6.1B this year. Player salaries totalled around $2.4B. Now, that's some pretty good green going to the players, and I don't have issue with the owners earning profits (as opposed to having guaranteed profits, which is something else). But that's around $3.7 BILLION not going to the players. Even after operations costs, non-player salaries, scouting, minor league subsidies, and other legitimate expenses, there's a lot of FY2007 revenue not being used.
So, where is the big greed? Not in the dugouts.
So, where is the big money? Not in the dugouts.
MLB Owners, how much $$$ do you need?
Jesus I am past sick of innumerate, financially ignorant "fans" who whine and moan about imaginary grievances and absolute nonsense.

I don't see it.
I see my baseball in a stadium that holds 9000 people the players get no more than $ 2500 a month, usually don't have long term contracts, and many will never see a multimillion dollar contract.
You won't see the skills you see in the majors, but you will never, never see a player not hustle.
Where is this??? In the Eastern league., that's where. It might as well be heaven.

wish i ought to write it bette... yet I doubt it may. properly positioned. I additionally place a ton of blame with the followers who love those products. I dont comprehend what number arguments I actually are transforming into into with human beings over how lots the homerun hurts baseball and this proves it (to a factor). As a coach on a semi-professional team and someone very lively in youngsters activities I propose velocity and gaps over capacity on a daily basis of the week.

Are you kidding? Baseball is making more money than ever. There is nothing wrong w/ the finances of the system. Teams need to step and and try to win instead of pocketing the revenue sharing. The FL Marlins were the most profitable team last year... it wasn't because they kicked azz if you know what I mean.
Next time bring an agruement you can prove because the proof proves you wrong. Wild cards win more WS than you would ever imagine. Anyone can win now. Baseball is the most even it's ever been and people complain!?!? Be thankfull you ungrateful person. This is the 2nd golden age of baseball.

greed has already killed baseball......these players have so much money, they probably don't even know what to do with half of what they have.
