I didn't get sick either. "Morning" sickness is the norm, but some of us don't get it.

Simple answer, no she is not lying, and no not all women throw up when pregnant.
Nausea and vomiting are believed to be connected to the levels of a certain pregnancy hormone - HCG, or Human Chorionic Gonadotrophin. This hormone decreases as a pregnancy progresses, which is why most nausea subsides after the first 3 months.
On the positive side, high levels of this (which increase the nausea) are said to decrease the risk of miscarriage.
If you suffer from this nausea, there are things that you can do to minimise it, like eating dry crackers before getting up in the morning, and eating small frequent meals without much spice throughout the day.
Prescription medication is also available but should be a last resort.

Some pregnant women get textbook morning sickness in the first trimester.
Some are unlucky enough to vomit morning noon and night for the whole 9 months.
Some are never sick at all.
The only cause for worry is the morning, noon and night sickness.

I never did--I had slight nausea in the very first few weeks and became more easily "nauseated" by things (and WAY oversensitive emotionally). The only "typical" symptom I had was that I was very tired. As for weird cravings, I craved bowls of buttered peas (I like peas, but I would've chosen a bowl of peas over ice cream any day during my pregnancy).

I gave birth to 3 babies. Never threw up with any of them. IN the early trimesters I might get a little woozy sometimes, but never enough to throw up. Every woman, and every pregnancy is different!

I started having morning sickness as of my fifth month of pregnancy. Every woman's pregnancy is different. Some women have mild morning sickness where as others may have severe.

No, she's not. There are some women who get sick and some who don't. In some cases, a woman may get sick with their first child, while not with the next one. It's all pretty random.

I never threw up. I accidently stuck the toothbrush down my throat one time and got a little sick from that but I never had any morning sickness.
