Good Idea. I have my pictures saved for different times of year....for examply...holiday pics. So I can select christmas and it will show all those for the past few years.

Thanks!
I have an old Laptop I been thinking about doing this. I going to remove the LCD and mount it on the Bottom so when it hang on the wall the keyboard is toward the wall and the LCD face out. May make a wood frame to go around it. I just need to lengthen the cable from the motherboard to the LCD.

Hi Leesa, Maybe, just maybe, the problem is progressive format of JPEG. Please reconvert them by the following steps: 1) Downald and install Photoshop (just install by trial) 2) Open your photos that can not read on the digital photo frame 3) File -> Save for Webs & Devieces 4) There is an option "Progressive". DO NOT tick it, and save. 5) Try them again. Please give me some feedback, this works or not. I've found several uses have the same problems. Thank you!

Yup
I got 216 pictures in my slideshow folder
( I just checked the 'Properties')
Most of them are pictures I tweaked in Paint Shop Pro from the net like http://us.f6.yahoofs.com/blog/46e8d8e3zb52b606a/8/__hr_/b00b.jpg?mgoEOVHBchDlGcYZ which is made from the avatar of one of my contacts here in YahooAnswers

Thanks for the infomation. I have mine set for something like that but I didn't know I could select individual pictures for the slide show. Mine just goes through my photos randomly. I will try this.
