I got my depo shot on Oct 12 and i bled on November 14-26th . I've gained weight only in my tummy and i haven't been eating all that much because i've been nausea, dizzy, headaches, body aches. I had sex while i was bleeding .. First it was brown discharge for like 5 days then it was blood and it was clots of bloods like a size of a dime. I have this feeling i'm pregnant. I have a feeling that the shot is rejecting my body .. How can you find out if the shot is rejecting your body?? Should i get a blood test done to see if i am pregnant? Will it show up in my blood before in my urine?? Has anyone you've ever know got pregnant on the shot and whats the story ??? I could really use some advice??? Thanks ....

Yes, it is possible to get pregnant on Depo. I have an 8 month old baby who is proof of that!

A blood test will show an accurate result sooner than a urine test so I suggest getting one done just to make sure.
Also, to answer your question- I have 2 friends who got pregnant while on the depo shot (never missed it or anything- nothing is 100% so there is always a chance).

Those kinds of symptoms can be expected with the depo shot. It is a large dose of horomones. It takes a while. My best friend conceived on Depo. She had been taking it for over 4 yrs. It doesn't happen very often but it does. Good luck

Is this the first time for the shot. It can have those effects until your body gets used to it, versus your body rejecting it. When I went back on it after babies, Id get spotting exactly like yours and constant headaches. That all went away after a couple more shots.

I haven't heard of many people getting pregnant on the shot and i'm not sure i know that the shot can sometimes give your body the illusion that you are pregnant i was on the shot and it made my brest leak milky fluid and i wasn't pregnant in fact i was still a virgin. like i said the shot gives your body the illusion that you are pregnant

Go to the doctor!! Nothing is 100% as far as birth control is concerned.
