Jefferson was rich before he became president. But what I wish is that we had reasonable term limits so we don't have the same people running in every election. It wasn't meant to be a lifetime job.

I for one am so sick of the political power trip that goes on with these high society, well-to-do morons that are supposedly our public servants that I am tempted to quit voting. It's all a big game of money and power now. Lying, dishonest, filthy rich politicians concerned with their special interests and own power and wealth who say I make the rules and I know what's best for the people. Yes I wish someone in politics would vow to work for the people, play straight and honest and not fall right in line with "the game" when they are elected.
