it sound to me like you are a a typical rebellious teenager. why would you try to run away? now I know that as an artist you can be very stubborn, I know I am (I'm an artist too). and a lot of people say that artists are hard to live with. but you cannot use that as an excuse for bad behavior. I had to learn that the hard way.

I write The poems I write are often confused with the writing of somebody seven to ten years older than me. I have a different outlook on life even for a teenager. I see the bad a lot, different angles, different emotions. I don't try to it just is like that. I just do. I don't do drugs though. I don't need them nor want them. I feel other people's emotions, even through a picture. I can sit and think, stare, feel. I'm different. You might be too, you know.

it depends me and my sister are both very "artsy"
my sistre is very agreeable she is quiet and spends alot of her time writing poetry, she has never caused a problem.
I on the other hand am quite different.
I am a writer and I do not have any patience for people.
If anyone comes within 2 feet of me while I am writing i scream
"I didn't tell you you could come near me!" and then i close my work and run and hide in my room, I dion't know why I do it I'm just very easily agitated
I also act and if I have an audition coming up I lock myself in my room with the script and won't come out, to eat or go to the washroom or anything.
so it really depends

It's definately not because you're artsy. Just a typical rebellious teenager. I'm a pretty artsy kid myself, and in middle school I was really rebellious, but I got over it. I'm still the artsy type, and I don't rebel all that much.

It means you're a teenager, plain and simple.
The stereotype for artists of any kind calls for: bouts of needless drama, lonely nights with a liquor bottle, and strange behavior overall. Perhaps it's true that some artists behave that way, but not because they're artists - they behave that way because that's simply how they're programmed to behave.
Over-generalizing artists to be melodramatic and moody does by no means mean it's a correct assumption. It all has to do with who you are, not what you are.

not really.
i consider myself to be an artsy kid [i'm going to be a visual artist part time when i grow up], and i'm surprisingly not rebellious for a teenager.
when my mom visited my art class last year, like everyone commented on how close we were, and how sweet she was.

No, I think the artist thing is more of an excuse. Running away especially is cruel to do to your parents. Why not focus on the talents of your arts.

Not really, I'm more of and artsy person or whatever you call it myself. And really, I'm easier to handle than most teenagers and I'm fourteen. It really depends on the person.
