Employment. Im a happy, single home mom and have 2 older kids and 1 toddler. The govt keeps threatening that I have to return to work or lose benefits when my child turns 5.

I dont WANT to work...I did from age 13-42 and have no desire to do it again. I'd just be taking up work that someone else REALLY wants.

Most of my wage would go on higher bills and childcare anyway...so what is the point? I think govt should leave single parents alone...at least we are caring for the next generation and not stuffing them in fulltime childcare. I did that with my first 2 and hated it. I dont want to sell my home just because I dont want to work again. I dont want to force myself into a relationship so some poor fellow can pay half my bills. I'll be 48, why should I work? Wahhhh! ;)

OK...so that my conflict. Its only a little one but it feels big when you dont have many.

Nothing any longer, I just take one day at a time, and if something isn't done today, there is always tomorrow.
