Its a very pretty town.Small and linked to Sweden by rail journey of about 20 mins. Malmo in Sweden however is not so pretty. More 70's concrete city.

Its about the same price as here (cheaper slightly with the exception of alcohol which is dearer).

People are freindly and its worth a visit for a weekend or long weekend.

It is really nice and well worth a visit. Most people speak English, there is a good standard of living and minimal crime.
The good thing about Copenhagen is it has a bit of everything-if you like city centre culture and nightlife its good for that, there are beaches (not the most scenic in the world, admittedly but still pretty nice) and also forests and countryside within easy reach.
Prices are about the same as the UK for most things. Bottled beer is cheaper in bars than draft. Carlsberg and Tuborg are the two main selling lagers in Denmark.
It is virtually compulsory to go and see 'The little mermaid' statue, a canal tour is worth taking, there are too many good museums to list here. Also, take a visit to Christiania, an island within the city that was taken over by hippy squatters in the sixties and declared a free state. It used to accepted that you could openly buy pot there (not recommended now, every time we went there were riot police and shady drug dealers hanging around).
Theres loads of other stuff to do, I recommend buying a 'Rough guide' to the place.
Have a great time!

It's nearly 20 years since I've been there, but it's a lovely city. Very expensive to drink there, as I recall, but you can do the tours of the breweries.

Go to your local library and get a tourist guide to Copenhagen to see if it interests you, and if it does and you decide to go there, invest in a copy of the DK Eyewitness Guide to Copenhagen.
